Leyla Rees has trained in dance, circus and classical music.Trained from the age of 8 at The Circus Space in a broad range of circus skills, she later specialised in aerial performing and teaching. After completing an Art Foundation at Central Saint Martin’s she went on to train at The Northern School of Contemporary Dance. She has worked on aerial collaborations with Central Saint Martin’s fine art students and performed and choreographed contemporary dance pieces at The Laban centre. For the early part of the year she has worked for in Norway performing in “Unforgettable” and “Magic Wonderland” shows as part of Starfiz aerial duo and has now returned to London where she works and lives. Leyla has recently been involved in performances at  The Cochrane theatre and The Black International Film festival.
